Because I think I missed that meeting.
Like, who decided “the rules”, for starters…
Here’s your permission slip
You and I know, there’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all approach to doing this thing called life. But the unwritten rules of society (coupled with the chaos of daily life) keep us running on autopilot, following the same playbook, ignoring our truths, and stopping us from living an authentic life.
How would life be different if, instead of taking a “this is right and this is wrong” approach to building an amazing life, we “try this or maybe that”?
My parents’ playbook wasn’t the one I wanted to follow, so I read anything I could get my hands on from every different perspective imaginable.
I began to build my life on my own terms and thought I had all the answers…
…but then the year that turned my family’s life upside down entered the room and I realized I still had a million questions left…

My kids took my last name instead of my husband’s.
We said “no” to traditional school, opting to world school/unschool our 4 kids.

I was pregnant at our wedding and it wasn’t an accident (gasp!). It was also outside in the snow and we asked people to wear wigs to the welcome brunch.
I’m a full-time stay-at-home mom (no really my kids are with me allllll day) with a degree in business economics, a minor in applied psychology, and a master's in finance that I use “behind the scenes” to manage our investments in real estate and startups.
I started this blog during one of the hardest seasons in my family’s life. My husband still thinks I’m crazy, but...
I’ve lived in 3 different countries, 4 states, 9 cities and I am one of those crazy people that loves being at the airport.
My never-ending search for clean products that work.
How I give my mind, body, and soul what it needs.
What I’m listening to these days.
How I put myself together as a mama of four.
