A British-American blogger, podcaster, and mama of four who dislikes labels (yes, I see the irony), and lives for deep conversations, an organized closet, and questioning the status quo.
Growing up I heard this phrase on repeat:
Despite planting this seed inside my head, I found myself gravitating toward the “traditional” way of doing things as I got older.
I had to navigate tricky family dynamics growing up and all I wanted was to fit the conventional model.
No idea was too big or too crazy. Nothing was impossible.
When I came to my dad with a seemingly off-the-map idea he would always respond with those words.
I gave my inner rebel the freedom to ask all the questions.
When I became a mom and realized my parents’ playbook wouldn’t work for us...
I had a million reasons why I wasn’t ready to start this blog.
How could we take the pieces of advice that resonated with us most (and leave what didn’t) to build our best life?
Such as: How were we going to do this?
It wasn’t until I had a conversation with a friend about the importance of sharing our stories, following the year that turned my family’s world upside down, that I had no more excuses to give.
My friend reminded me that documenting my somewhat unconventional way of building my best life could help others do the same.
and leave feeling empowered to build a life that lights you up—even if it means doing things differently than expected.
Our house. This is the first time I’ve ever felt settled (despite all our future remodel plans!)
Being truly present.
Japan and lots of camping trips because nature is calling.

My grandma Rosemary. She was brave, non-judgemental, unconditionally loving, and listened with an open heart.
My eldest said “Your super power is obvious. You’d make all the kids in the world feel good.”
Los Angeles is home, but London is our home away from home.
Snuggles and coffee before heading out for the day and seeing the world through my kids’ eyes.
Watching my three boys fall in love with their new baby sister and working on my podcast.
Me, in a nutshell:
My never-ending search for clean products that work.
How I give my mind, body, and soul what it needs.
What I’m listening to these days.
How I put myself together as a mama of four.
Because traveling with kids just hits differently.
